And given that Trump wants to stop spending resources in this war or against Russia in general, that he may want to pivot to ASIA into competing with China, and that he may want to prevent WWW III or a Nuclear Apocalypse, it’s easier for him than to blame Russia or blame the US government and European governments which planned the Ukraine’s coup from the very beginning and pushed Ukraine into this path which would eventually lead it to war with Russia.

Because Anti-Ballistic Missile Systems, that help protect against Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles may work as shield, that avoids Mutually Assured Destruction.

The point of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) is that no country would attack each other with ICBMs (capable’s of sending nuclear war heads between continents) because throwig nukes against one, would mean both throwing nukes at each other, which would mean mutually asured destruction, creating a Nuclear Power Ballance, that ensure that no one would use nukes against each other because the possibility of retaliation worked as a DETERRENT for nuclear warfare. But the US wanted to have the unique advantage of having a shield, so they could shoot nukes at others without getting retaliated, so they got out of the Treaty because they wanted to develop such a system that could break the balance of power (which could potentially meant they could have the advantage). Obviously, breaking the ballance of power, trying to make Russia’s ICBM warheads useless against the US, while keeping US warheads functional against Russia is a way threaten them, the lack of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) meant that the US could unilaterally attack Russia in the future without consequences.

The use of borders is a well known way to support paramilitary, illegal or terrorist forces within a country, from a one besides it.

So, if anything, I guess you could say that Ukraine’s fault was been of it being naive and to allow itself to get deceived and used by the West. Ukraine wanted to be part of the West, but they didn’t notice that they were just a puppet of the West, meant to be used by the West, a dispossable - expendable puppet, and now, just like anyone would do with a dispossable used piece of Toilet Paper, they are throwing it into the garbage can or the toilet and flushing it down.
